Listen first, then tap it back

How-to, tips & answers

Listen to a short pattern, then tap it back.

How it works

  1. Choose a tempo and difficulty, then create a pattern.
  2. Listen to four count-in beats followed by the pattern.
  3. Tap the same number of beats after listening.

Listen, then tap

Choose a difficulty and tempo. Four beats count you in before the pattern plays. Afterwards, tap the same number of beats. Replay the example whenever you need to.

What the score measures

It compares the gaps between your taps with the gaps in the pattern. Your first tap sets the start. Feedback shows how closely the spacing matches and whether you were faster or slower.

Good to know

Do I have to start straight after the last sound?

No. Your first tap is the starting point. The gaps after it are what count. Small sound or input delays can still affect the result.
