How it works

  1. Choose treble or bass clef.
  2. Include sharps if you want a wider selection.
  3. Pick the note name, check it and move on.

Recognise note names

Choose a clef and optionally include sharps. Answer with the note name regardless of octave. The English display uses B where German uses H.

After answering

A wrong answer reveals the target note and its octave. Listen to the note if you want, then move to the next one. Progress keeps track of your answers.

Good to know

Does this record my instrument?

No. You choose the note name. This exercise does not need microphone access.
